Our Coláiste is beautifully located right on the water’s edge beside the Blue Flag beach at Cuan Eilí, offering a safe, comfortable and welcoming place for students to stay and learn.

We have 26 modern en-suite bedrooms, with 4–6 students per room, allowing us to accommodate around 100 students on each course. Student’s share rooms with other students, helping to build friendships and a strong sense of community. A dedicated supervision team: including the course principal, accommodation staff and prefects is always on hand to ensure students are safe, supported and happy.

Irish is encouraged throughout daily life on site, so students get plenty of opportunities to practise their cúpla focal outside the classroom in a relaxed, natural way.

Meals are provided each day, with healthy, filling food served in a communal dining area, making mealtimes another social highlight.

With classrooms, sports facilities and activity areas all on site, students can move easily from lessons to activities without travelling. The on-site accommodation experience suits students who enjoy independence, teamwork and a lively atmosphere, while still benefiting from structure, supervision and full Irish-language immersion.

How many children are on each Gaeltacht course?

There are currently 288 students on each 2-week Irish College Summer Gaeltacht course, 96 students on the Easter Irish College Gaeltacht course and 104 students on Cúrsa F Summer Gaeltacht course.
I have 2 children going to Coláiste Uisce, is there a family discount?

Yes, there is a €100 family discount for immediate members of a family attending an Irish College course in the same year. Where a family discount is availed of no other discount vouchers will be accepted.
Is it a mixed course?

Yes, there is roughly a fifty/fifty split on each Gaeltacht course, but it can vary depending on applications
What is the payment policy?

A deposit of €300 must be made to secure a place. A course place is only confirmed on receipt of a course reference number (uimhir thagartha). The balance due must be paid 2 months before the course start date.
