Winsurfing Instructor Course

When: 15th - 20th August 2011

Price: €500 (incl food & accom Number of Places: 9
Closing date for reg: 22/07/2011

Candidates successfully completing this course will be able to instruct modules within the Get up + Go! & Go 4 It! sections of the IWA Go! Windsurfing Scheme.

Pre Requisites
All Candidates must;

Feel comfortable sailing in strong winds on a board (no bigger than 160l),
Hold a valid Emergency Care Certificate
Have an ISA National Powerboat Certificate (tiller and console boats)
Be at least 17 years old by the course start date
Have completed Go 4 It! Windsurfing modules in strong winds

Sailing Instructor Course
	When: 22nd - 27th August 2011 OR 5th - 10th September 2011 Venue: UISCE Price: €500 (incl food & accom Number of Places: 8 Closing date for reg: 22/07/2011
Successful candidates will be able to teach Taste of Sailing, Start Sailing, Basic Skills and Improving Skills courses in sailing dinghies upon completion of this course. Pre Requisites All Candidates must have; Completed the Instructor Pre-entry Assessment - determines whether candidates wishing to participate on the Sailing Instructor course have the necessary skills and knowledge. A National Powerboat Certificate A VHF Radio Certificate A Valid Emergency Care Certificate Turned 17 years of age before the course start date
