We are offering four new Improvers courses on Cúrsa C 2012. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to dedicate themselves to their favourite sport for the duration of the course as opposed to alternating between different activities. During this course you will remain with you chosen activity for the full 3 hour session as opposed to alternating between land and water activities. Our aim is to provide progression for past students so that they can improve skills learned on previous courses and work toward achieving higher qualifications in their chosen sport.
These courses will run in conjunction with the activity sessions on the standard Cúrsa C Irish course. Students will still take part in all the other elements the standard course has to offer eg Irish classes, céilí dancing, barbeques, evening activities and day trips. The only time students will be seperated from students who have opted for the standard Irish course is during activity sessions.
We will be running Level 2 improver’s courses in sailing, windsurfing, surfing as well as an introductory to catamaran sailing. We have limited the numbers on each course so that groups will be kept small. Students will stay with their group and instructor for the duration of the course. This will help with rapid learning and improvement in skills. All courses are designed to get the maximum time and enjoyment on the water. Students with an introductory knowledge of each sport may apply for a place on an improver’s course.
*Please note that student’s will ONLY be doing their chosen sport for their fortnight stay in UISCE. Please also note that all water sports are weather dependent.
